Why are you interested in adopting a pet at this time?*

We absolutely do not want our cats to be surrendered later in life for any reason. It is very difficult to find homes for older cats. Common reasons people give up their cats: Allergies / Medical bills are too much / Have to move and can't take cat to new place / Sudden death and the surviving family member cannot keep / New dog and the cat/dog don't get along / New baby/child and determine it's too much to care for a pet. Please confirm that you have given thought to not just now, but the future, and have the time, financial means and stability in your life to care for a pet for its ENTIRE lifetime which can be 20+ years.*

I understand that an approved application does not guarantee that the kitten/cat will be placed with me. The final decision rests with our foster families, as they know their cats best. Cats are not placed on a first come, first serve basis; they are placed based on which home is the most appropriate and best fit.
