Meet Shane – Our Handsome Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Shane is the biggest of his litter, but also the sweetest and most sensitive. He loves to chase string toys, and when he's worn out, he likes to snuggle and purr against you, and will chatter and meow when he wants something. He can be adopted as a solo kitten but he doesn't like to be left alone, so he would need the company of a human or another pet. We’d be thrilled to see him adopted alongside his beloved brother, Rory. Watching the two of them wrestle and chase each other is endless entertainment!
Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm.
If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org . We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows.
And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a LIFE TIME commitment. Please make sure you have the financial resources to cover emergency vet bills if your cat gets sick, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them.
