Meet Poppy!   She is a little kitten with a big personality… energetic, playful, super curious, always has to be in the middle of the action (we almost named her FOMO).  She loves being around people.  She likes being walked on a harness/leash if that means she gets to explore.  And she doesn't mind water.  She might be part dog!  At night Poppy likes to sleep with her human, and during the day once she’s had her fun she enjoys her cuddles with her humans.   We think she’ll be best as a solo kitten or with a mature cat or dog.  Her foster family has so much fun with her and we know you will too.

Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm.

If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org.

We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows.

And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a LIFE TIME commitment.  Please make sure you have the financial resources to cover vet bills, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them.  Thank you for adopting a rescue cat!
